Flowering Tea

Staying in Qualia is indeed a luxury. True, it is heavy in the pocket but it sure is worth it with the kind of service they provide and the facilities available for all their guests.

One thing I like in what they do is that every night when we come home to our pavillion, we are greeted with a flowering tea and a box of Zokoko Chocolate.

The flowering tea was interesting so we created a video of how to unravel it.

You see it first as a ball and as you immerse it in a hot water, it then slowly opens up and becomes a flower - a blossoming flower - and then it's ready to be drunk.

Taiwan - Modern Toilet

Modern Toilet Restaurant, as the name suggests, is a novelty restaurant designed like a toilet. It definitely is an instagramable place with its seats as actual toilet bowls and tables, toilet sinks. Foods are either decorated as poop or served in toilet miniatures. It's definitely not for one with a crazy imagination and sensitive stomach. I actually loved the bread poop :)

Blowing Dandelions

Dandelion

Dandelions are everywhere in Australia so when I glanced upon one, an idea immediately came into mind - a perfect couple video for our friends who are getting married soon. I quickly grabbed Benjie, our creative, brilliant video maker friend and fed him the idea. Loved that Khai and Naj were also game.

I loved that in this video (#DandelionWish), the couple had the skills to blow it perfectly. With just one Dandelion available, a mistake could have been costly! 😊

However, not everyone can blow it right the first time.

My kind of Thursday

Thursdays are late night tradings in Sydney. This means that shops close till late whereas on other days, shops usually close around 5 pm.

This particular thursday, we decided to go to Broadway Shopping Centre where we'd use our pizza voucher at Bondi Pizza.  To make it more exciting, thursdays are "Ribs Night" so we excitedly ordered this along with our (free) 12" Classic Supreme Pizza. These were enough to fill three happy stomachs. We enjoyed the ambiance and were satisfied with the service. We would have stayed longer if we did not have any other voucher to use 😉

We then headed to Target and shopped till we dropped. Kidding! We only spent $50 that night as that was the amount of voucher we received from our Electricity provider.  Cool isn't it?! They gifted us this voucher for referring our friend to avail of their services. If you are looking for an electric and gas provider, you may send me a message so I can refer you. They will give you a voucher for joining and us to for referring 😋

As if we did not get enough free stuffs, we then proceeded to Coles to claim our free Coke No Sugar cans!
